Our mission at SUNDAZED is to inspire women to ride waves and shape their own realities. We help women build a tribe, travel confidently, surf solo, and tap into their power, proving that life is what you create—one adventure at a time.

How Sundazed was born 

We met in 2022 on the legendary North Shore of Oahu, both working at Jamie O’Brien’s surf school. Our connection was immediate—rooted in our shared love for surfing, photography, and globe-trotting. The powerful female surf community on the North Shore had a profound impact on both of us, with daily paddle-outs that pushed us to challenge ourselves, support one another, and create lasting memories with inspiring women.

At the start of 2024, Steph embarked on a new adventure overseas while Caroline set off on her own travels. Fate brought us back together one afternoon in the lineup at Telescopes, a remote wave in the Mentawai Islands. Steph was working as a photographer on a surf charter, and Caroline was enjoying the surf trip of a lifetime. Running into each other in such a remote location blew our minds, especially since we were the only women in the line up. Steph had worked multiple surf charters in the Mentawais, often as the only woman among 20 men, and even on land, the gender ratio was starkly uneven. With the rise of female surfers in recent years, it felt like the perfect moment for something transformative.

That evening, over sunset drinks aboard another boat, we shared stories, dreams, and fears. It was then that Sundazed was born—a shared vision to empower women through surfing, adventure, and community. Our mission is to inspire women to live life boldly, challenge themselves, and build a tribe of support and sisterhood. Now, we’re bringing our experiences and connections from surf communities around the world to help other women experience the magic for themselves. .
