Q: WHAT BOARD SHOULD I BRING ?
When it comes to boards, it really depends on your preference and expertise. Sri Lanka is known for its gentle, more forgiving waves compared to destination such as, Indonesia or Hawaii. This makes it a fantastic spot for longboards or mid-length boards. If you’re bringing a shortboard, we'd recommend something versatile, like a fish or twin fin, especially for days when the swell is smaller or less powerful. Longboards are also a great choice—you really can’t go wrong with either one for these waves. There will also be boards available at the lodge, and Sri Lanka has plenty of board rental options if you’d like to try something different during your trip.

Comfortable activewear for yoga, swimsuits, sunscreen, and a journal. We provide surfboards, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like!
